Waiting

This series of photographs returns to the places I once waited while my father disappeared briefly to purchase narcotics. Parking lots, storefronts, side streets, and in-between spaces that shaped our days together. As a child, I did not understand the contours of addiction; I only knew these locations as pauses, as holding places where time stretched.
