Meet E. Creps

Emma Creps is a 3D artist who engages in dialogue of substance abuse through installation, papier-mache, garmentry, and textiles. She currently lives in the Rio Grande Valley, holds a BFA in Art with a minor in Psychology, and is pursuing a certification in Chemical Dependency Counseling. Her ongoing research focuses on the effects of addiction, specifically substance abuse, on the family and body. She draws inspiration from community narratives, her background in psychology, and personal experiences. She invites audiences to confront the difficult realities of addiction and its profound effects on individuals and families.
